On Sunday there were the Oscars awarded to the winning nominees. I
wasn’t aware of this at all until I came to Pebble’s lesson. She welcomed us in
a red gown probably designed by some famous designer..))))
We were given a list of films which had been nominated for the Oscars.
We were supposed to choose one film from the list each, read the summary of the
plot and view the trailer. After seeing the trailer we took turns to express
our opinion about the film and whether we would be keen to see this movie.
The movies covered a wide range of topics and each film was shot
differently. I have always wondered how the members of the Academy are able to
choose the best ones for each category.
The whole lesson was very pleasant and enjoyable.
