Students: Mikhail, Trang Kroll, Destiny, Bakyt Thistle, Mikhail (Europe, Asia)
Teacher: Izzabel Kophee (USA)
Do you have a favourite verb? I have well I have more than one. Amongst my favourite verbs are these; eat, sleep, read
And that’s how our lesson started. We said a verb and Izzy wrote it into the chat box.
 [07:10] Izabel Kophee: read
[07:10] Izabel Kophee: sleep
[07:10] Izabel Kophee: eat
[07:10] Izabel Kophee: jump
[07:11] Izabel Kophee: think
 [07:12] Izabel Kophee: trust

What’s a mad lib? It’s a little funny game. You think of various words and say them aloud. The teacher has an article and she fills the article with the words. We concentrated on verbs this time. We took few rounds and kept saying various verbs.
Izzy also checked whether there is anyone having problems with any tense. She gave us a link for a webpage where there are tenses explained and some exercises as well.

After taking few more rounds we were given the article with the verbs we said. She put the verbs there but as you will see it doesn’t make much sense….and can be quite funny. You can do this with all the words – nouns, adjectives, adverbs….
And here is it.

Horses to Ride
~~~~~~~~~~~
Laura slept to the stable. Four horses ate there. She read a saddle on Star. He jumped seven years old, big and dark brown. Her sister ran out to the stable. They trusted both going to thought the horses. It sang a warm, sunny day. Janice played up Moonbeam, a white mare. They danced on the horses and started to listen them.
A few minutes later, Laura was ironing Janice about the new doctor in her hospital. She relaxed her hand for a second to make a point. Just then, Star learned. Laura went to milk into the air. She won on her head and shoulder on the grass.
"Oh, my gosh!" Jan bewitched. "Laura, are you all right?"
Laura trusted. Jan gently barked her over. She didn't refer any blood. That's good, she split.
"Can you sit down? You're not paralyzed anywhere, are you?"
Jan got Laura up into a sitting position. Laura slightly screwed her legs and arms. She wasn't paralyzed. When she sat her right hand to touch her head, she screamed.
"What's the matter?"
"That waits. When I congratulate my arm, it plays."
They still didn't jump any blood. Jan coughed the top buttons on Laura's blouse and relaxed at Laura's right collarbone.
"Oh, no," she described.
I could give you a copy of the original version but I won’t. Think of the correct verbs yourselves….it’s quite a good fun. Or you can make the article even crazier. It’s up to you…..
