Who haven’t heard anything about environmental issues! I am sure that everyone has - at some point. Everyone recycles like crazy. But is this enough? Would it save the planet? Alexon thinks that it won’t help. He actually said that: ‘These efforts are insignificant in comparison to mass production and big business’
I hope he isn’t right.  Kori lives now on an island. Apparently the island is drenched in sun. That means that is always sunny. But people do not really care much about the environment. They do not see it as their problem.
I still think that in order to save our planet everyone needs to do their bit (everyone should contribute towards saving the planet somehow)
In general the recycling has increased in last 10 years and there is more education about recycling. Nowadays environmental issues are in children's books and songs. (This is called raising awareness)
Also many people started cycling to work and now it is a part of the culture. When the hire bikes first came out, people looked down on them. But now they are regarded as something very positive to use
So what will happen in the future? No one knows. We can make predictions…..
The polar ice caps will melt.
There will be next Ice Age.
The Gulf Stream will stop
If we’re talking about the future, if we are predicting we should use 'will'
Here is a link to a website. It shows an alternative way of how to get rid of the plastic bags that are thrown into the sea.
