Creative Writing: Can a lion share the cupcake?

How to tell an interesting story? What are the right ingredients? Good characters, settings, and the right use of a language.

For example a variety of tenses that can help the story to develop. Delia gave us a link to a story maker website and showed us her story of Gennie.

Then we discussed what tenses were used in the story of Gennie.

The tenses were.....Past, simple, past continuous, future, past perfect, continuous, future, conditionals

Then we tried to make our own story with the help of the story maker. Choose a character, settings, and then write a story. It was a great fun. Here is a link to the website:
